How do I assign a manager or multiple managers to one of my employees?

If you want to allow your managers to approve leave requests for their team members, you have to assign a manager to each employee.

  1. Under the Employees, click on the employee's name that you wish to assign a manager.
  2. Go to Employment Details, then select a manager or multiple managers.
  3. Scroll down and click Save Changes.


If you do not wish to have a manager for this employee, select "No manager". In that case the admin of the PayrollPanda app is able to approve leave requests. 

If you selected Multiple Managers, once one of the appointed managers approves or rejects leave it would be treated as "Approved/Rejected". The employee will receive a notification via email and it would reflect int the Leave Calendar and Action Log.

Note, only employees that have signed up to the app as an employee can be appointed as managers.
